Rental Tip #7: Your Rental Offer was Accepted, now what?

Now that you found a home for rent in Wellington Florida and wrote a winning offer that was accepted by the Wellington landlord, the next step is signing the lease. The Wellington landlord and their agent will typically have the lease prepared and ready to sign within 7 days of when your rental offer was accepted.

After the lease is signed by all parties the next step is to get HOA approval, if the property is located in a community with a Homeowners Association that requires tenant approval.

Most homeowners associations will charge a fee for the application process, which is usually around$150-$500 and the HOA approval process can take one to three weeks, so application should be made as soon as you receive the lease.
