Wellington Florida has a great week of events coming up! This week’s outdoor events include the Wellington’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, the Food Truck Series, a FREE Concert and Make a Splash Water Safety Event. WELLINGTON MEMORIAL DAY PARADE & CEREMONY:

WHEN: MONDAY, May 28th, 2018

TIME: 8:15am

WHERE: Wellington Community Center and Veteran Memorial

COST: FREE Admission

First up will be the 20178Memorial Day Parade, which begins at 8:15am. It will start at the Wellington Community Center and end at Wellington’s Veteran Memorial. (The Wellington Community Center is located at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, Florida 33414 and Wellington’s Veterans Memorial is located on the corner of Forest Hill Boulevard and South Shore Boulevard). The 2018 Memorial Day Ceremony will begin immediately following the Memorial Day Parade around 8:30am at the Veterans Memorial.

 

WELLINGTON FOOD TRUCK SERIES & FREE CONCERT:

WHEN: THURSDAY, May 31st, 2018

TIME: THURSDAY: 5:00pm-9:30pm (Food Truck)

6:30pm (Concert)

WHERE: Wellington Florida Amphitheater

COST: FREE Admission

Wellington’s popular Food Truck Series will be taking place this Thursday starting at 5:00pm and a FREE Concert at 6:30pm. Sit back, relax and enjoy an array of food with your friends as you listen to a performance by Rough Shot. As usual, there will be countless food trucks to choose from and don’t forget to bring seating.

 

MAKE A SPLASH WATER SAFETY EVENT:

WHEN: SATURDAY, June 2nd, 2018

TIME: 9:00am to Noon

WHERE: Wellington Aquatics Complex

COST: FREE Admission

“Make a S.P.L.A.S.H” (Safety & Prevention Leases All Swimmers Happy) is taking place this Saturday. Learn all about water safety and prevention with the pediatric residents from Palms West Hospital, Palm Beach Fire Rescue, Wellington lifeguards and more. There will also be a live water rescue demonstration taking place.
